Ordered the lamp and it was delivered quickly by post. Is exactly same as original part but Two thirds cheaper than replacement from other suppliers. Couldn’t even find one on Hotpoint website! Very pleased and would reccomend.

It works. Excellent value for money.
Much cheaper than Hotpoint. Easy to fit but a swine to remove the translucent plastic cover in the fridge first as no instructions were provided with the product. Ended up breaking one of two plastic lugs but Extra Strength Superglue did the trick (together with another bit of plastic I found to give extra support). In hindsight, probably best to turn the fridge off and let it reach room temp before removing bulb cover so the plastic won't be quite so brittle.

Hi Beryl, unfortunately diagnosing a fault without seeing and testing the appliance is not possible. May I suggest you take a look at our advice center where we have lots of help diagnosing and fixing appliances, or you may need to employ the services of a qualified engineer.
