Fridge stat
Very cost effective repair in lieu of remarkable problems getting a new fridge in ROI. Our whirlpool fridge packed up during hot weather. To fault it, when I thumped the stat and it would only run for a couple of minutes and then turn off. To get the fridge running over the next few days whilst awaiting delivery of the stat, I shorted out the stat contacts and ran the fridge on timed mains supply via a smart WiFi controlled plug/socket (S20) programmed in a loop, on for 7mins in every hour. (A cool fridge and a calm ‘er in doors returned harmony to the house and if she wanted it cooler, the voice command computer turn on fridge gave it a boost!) Removal/Fitting was a doddle once I worked out that the screws to remove the trim were located under small pull off panels located above either end of the door on the main body of the fridge. Thank you for making spares so easily available, I have bookmarked you on my browser for the future!

Hi, will this fit a whirlpool fridge, model is whirlpool art 531-1/h, it looks similar in the photo but im not quite sure ? When i check on here it says unsure. Mine is a fridge freezer
