Appear expensive for what they are but to retain control of fridge or freezer temperature it will need to to be replaced if the shaft breaks. If the freezer control breaks in the maximum position the frost free function will be compromised and may result in the freezer icing up.

Thiught the fridge/freezer was expensively broken but turned out to be just both of these sheared. Easily fitted and we are back to normal. Dissapointed at the price for a small piece of plastic - other companies charge similar but service from Ransom is tip top yet again.
