I had tried 2 units before finding this one via the correct ID and a supplier with this exact unit in stock. I found that the 'Does it fit my appliance?' is sometimes correct, more usually its a general indicator with 'subject to the following cautions' as a condition - I've found its best to obey the caution and if in doubt go to another vendor. Even manufacturer's guarantee are not 100% reliable, in my experience. I had great relief when this Ransom unit worked. Although it didn't work immediately, then I realised the new unit had to acclimatise to the Freezer (in my case) . Then it settled down to maintaining a steady temperature around -18C, with virtually no variations regardless of my erratic access for frozen foods, and more erratic slots checking the temp. I was delighted! It was not cheap, although some other vendors who claimed to sell this unit, were charging twice Ransom's price. My other issue was installing which is nothing to do with Ransom and all to do with Bosch - they'd get 3 stars at best ... if they asked !!! So well done Ransom! I will return again and check your service first.
