Door seals secure your refrigerator door
The seal on the refrigerator door keeps cold air out and warm air in, creating an impenetrable barrier. This prolongs the freshness of your food while also saving energy.
Why does it get damaged?
Frequent opening and closing of the refrigerator door can lead to wear and tear on the seal, causing cracks, tears, or deformations. Exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, as well as contact with certain chemicals or cleaning agents, can also cause the seal material to degrade over time.
Mishandling or rough treatment of the refrigerator door can damage the door seal.

Excellent product
The freezer seal on our old Bosch Fridge/Freezer was no longer making contact and the freezer section was icing up and losing temperature. Ordered a replacement from Ransom. Extremely simple to fit, excellent quality, and works perfectly. Firm believer in 'fix if possible'.

Great Product - Give it time to settle
When first fitted, the seal did not hold the fridge door closed well even after following the instructions. I left the fridge closed for a couple of hours and when I next came to open it, the seal was as strong as it was when I bought the fridge (15 years ago). My advice is follow the instructions then leave the door closed for a few hours I bought this to buy us a bit of time whilst we decided how we wanted to re-model the kitchen. It has certainly done that and breathed life into a White Good that, by rights, should have been confied to scrap long ago. Great service.

Excellent Delivery
I was a white goods engineer for many years working with all brands including Bosch, Meiele. This seal was for my own Bosch freezer. They are very easy to fit onto the door 1-2 minutes but getting the seal to give a good airtight seal is another matter. The use of a hair dryer and Patience is needed and it took me about an hour to get it sealing ok. An original seal from Bosch it now works fine.

Five minute job but follow the instructions
Seal arrives quite compressed - presumably how it comes from the factory, doesn't seem to be anything to do with the packaging. Instructions that come with the seal tell you to use a hair dryer to soften it and pull it into shape. Make sure you do and it fits fine otherwise the freezer door won't close securely.

I am looking for a seal 1730mm X 565mm to fit Siemens fridge KS36WP130/11. this model is elusive - if you ask directly it does not exist, if you go into Siemens and physically scroll down the list of model numbers - it's there!!
