Excellent original part and easy to fit great to find a part for a good but old fridge thanks

It seems the plastic Bosch fridge door str1p handles have a habit of disintegrating over time so it was great to be able to source a replacement part at reasonable cost. The trickiest bit was removing the remains of the broken handle without damaging the lugs that the new handle clips into. Once the pieces of the old broken handle were removed it was an easy job of just clipping in the new one. Simples!

Spoke on the phone to the Company. The person I spoke to was very helpful and guided me to the right part. Received the part when they said we would. The part's instructions was easy to follow. Will use this Ransom Spares again

Once the broken fridge handle that runs along the top of the door has been removed, the new one was straight forward to fit. The old piece on my unit was coloured, cream. did not look good on a white fridge. The new white one makes the fridge look like a new unit. Extreme care is needed in removing the old handle piece, by not damaging the fridge door top.

The first replacement lasted just over 2 years. Same hassle getting it off as with the original handle - but no araldite this time. See my previous post. For me the real fault is that any adult opening the door is pulling in an upwards direction, rather that straight out. And this handle does not have "end plates" that would improve overall rigidity. Also, the door has an excellent seal so needs a good pull if opened just a short while after being closed - before the slight vacuum equalises back to room pressure. We have learned and now pull open from the middle of the handle. But if/when this new one fails, I will order a side handle from Ransom Spares and screw it on.
