Senses the fridge temperature to control cooling and lights the inside when you open the door.

Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
This is a genuine LED light panel and thermostat for your fridge.
Smart cooling meets energy-efficient lighting. While the thermostat quietly maintains the perfect chill to keep your food fresh, the LED light panel brightens up every corner so you can easily spot what you need.
If your fridge lights are dim or flickering, or if the temperature is inconsistent, it might be due to a faulty thermostat or damaged lights. Replace them with these parts.
This LED light panel and thermostat for your fridge from Beko also fits Blomberg and Grundig models.
Before ordering, please verify that this part is suitable for your model using our compatibility checker.
I've just replaced mine. The part is perfect but not an easy fit (not a fault of the part). The unit is clipped in but it is a VERY tight fit and requires quite a bit of force to pry it out and u clip it. At the back of the unit on the LED side, there is a small recess where you can fit a small flat blade screwdriver into. I then forced the screw driver sideways to the long side of the unit. The took a second flat blade screwdriver and did the same to the opposite side. So now you have two flat blade screwdrivers on either side of the unit (you cannot get a screwdriver in at any other point due to the tight fit and you would probably end up damaging the fridge ceiling). Now you have leverage from both screwdrivers and the idea is to try and pull the unit straight down and out. Again, it takes quite a bit of force. It will pop out. Refitting also takes quite a bit of force due to the tight fit. Try and press in the areas where the uprights are and avoid pressing on the transparent LED cover. Best to take a couple of shelves out for better access.
Hi, How can I remove the old assembly without damaging the body?
Hi Peter, I'm afraid we can't offer fitting advice. I'd recommend contacting an engineer to see if they can help. Please accept our apologies.
