My Beko fridge had water pooling in the bottom. I googled and saw that this part is needed to clean the hole in the back of the fridge. The manual said this part came with the fridge, but I'm pretty sure it didn't. I ordered it, it came quickly, sorted the problem. Extremely relieved I didn't have to buy a new fridge.

Hi Elaine, no, these are only used to clear a blockage and shouldn't be kept in all the time.
