I have used Ransom Spares previously to replace another Freezer drawer in my 8 year old AEG/John Lewis freezer. I had no hesitation returning to Ransom when another drawer was broken. I ordered on a Wednesday at 5pm and the drawer arrived at 7:30am on the Friday. As with my previous experience with the company, the drawer was very easy to fit and of a very high quality. After several years of owning my John Lewis (AEG) freezer, several of the drawers had become brittle and started to break. I came across Ransom Spares and not only are their replacement drawers very cost effective (compared to other sites), they arrived promptly, they came with runners already attached and they fitted perfectly. Our John Lewis Freezer suffered from a cracked drawer a couple of years ago. Obtaining a replacement proved problematic and I eventually settled on buying what I guessed would be the wrong replacement but it did fit -albeit poorly!!! We have soldiered on with this "replacement" but it lacked the depth of the original (as well as height). It - sort of - did the job but it was very easy (especially when it was full) to pull it out too far thus dropping the drawer and contents onto the floor. As the freezer lives in the garage and the floor is concrete, this replacement drawer was always doomed! And so it proved. I decided to have another go at finding the exact, proper, replacement. This was as frustrating as it had been previously. Most of the usual spares sites would steer me to parts diagrams for similar models but they were never the SAME model. Somehow I stumbled upon RansomSpares. This proved to be the answer to my prayers.
