Saved my dishwasher

My fitted Electrolux dishwasher's lock broke, the device leaked water and foam, and I feared the worst - a bill of close to £400 to replace the appliance. I found this part on Ransom Spares and ordered it after reassuring myself by way of Youtube videos that I could replace the component myself. The part arrived quickly and I (a complete amateur) was able to fit it. The machine works perfectly again. I have saved a lot of money and I cannot recommend this part enough.

Part was exactly as required and easy to fit. Dishwasher doesn't keep running when the door is opened now! You guys beat a competitor who didn't offer this replacement part on their website!
Direct replacement

Product as hoped for i.e. standard spare that fitted as a direct replacement. It even looked as though it had the same design faults as the original. I only hope it lasts as long (4 years). None of this has anything to do with Ransom who in this case I can highly recommend.
Dishwasher Blues

Our dishwasher packed up recently. OK it is nearly ten years old, but hey you realise how much you need it when it doesn't work ! Couldn't get the part fm my usual supplier of spares since it is discontinued by the manufacturer. But then I found Ransoms site.... brilliant ! They not only had the part, but also a video of how to fit it. OK it was a bit pricey, but compared to the cost of a new dishwasher it was a bargain. Will certainly use Ransoms again next time something breaks !
