The part was ordered and delivered with the usual Ransomes efficiency. For the average guy with some mechanical aptitude you should reckon on a half a day to fit it. There are some on-site videos to provide guidance which were very useful. The process is basically pulling the dishwasher out, taking off the sides and disconnecting the springs that hold the door. Getting the door off was a bit of a challenge due to the weight of the fitted cover and , due to the attached wiring loom, difficult to manouevre. Removing the old seal and fitting the new one is straightforward.

Good quality seal. Didn't realise how bad the existing one was until I compared them side to side. The part fit perfectly, but required more dismantling of the dishwasher than I expected. But it's in now and works fine. Original one lasted 12 years, hoping this one lasts just as long.
