After 15 years use our whirlpool dishwasher (made in Germany) started leaking. This was indicated by an error code. It was obvious the lower seal had gone because it was wavey. This was replaced (with much difficulty) but there was still a small leak, so we ordered the upper seal. This was really easy to fit. Just pull the old one out and push in the new one. After fitting it was clear that the original seal was over long and badly finished off. The new seal fitted perfectly. On testing, the door leaked a little but after some careful cleaning of the door where it came against the seal everything is fine and working as before.
