You're going to need a specialised tool
The Heat Exchanger is a Bosch original part, so I'm assuming its as good as the original, which lasted 15 years. You might get lucky and be able to unscrew the Bosch Dishwasher Expansion Slot Cover 00611314 which locks the Heat Exchanger in place from inside the dishwasher cavity. But the chances are it won't shift, and you'll resort to a 10mm hex key or various makeshift methods from You-Tube, without success. Before you bend the plastic cover completely out of shape which would make it impossible to remove even with the correct tool: The tool you need is Bosch Auxiliary Tool 00342189 But Ransom don't carry it. Available on other sites.
