I bought a hinge spring a few years ago and it’s easy enough to fit once you work out which screws you do or do not need to remove to access the area. Seems expensive for a spring but I guess it’s a speciality product as such. In hindsight I should have bought 2 and replaced them both at the same time, hence having to buy another one now as the second spring broke.
