A heater element in a dishwasher regulates the water temperature during the wash and rinse cycles. It has a heating coil or element that heats up when electricity passes through it.
As water circulates through the dishwasher, the heated element warms the water to the desired temperature to ensure effective cleaning and sanitization of dishes and utensils.
If the element fails to heat up the water or if the water temperature remains consistently low, it indicates a damaged or worn-out heater element. Visible damage like cracks or breaks in the element require replacement. Consult the dishwasher's user manual or seek professional assistance to determine the exact cause and recommended replacement interval for the heater element.
This heater element is a genuine Hotpoint oven spare part. It also fits Ariston, Indesit, Scholtes, and Whirlpool dishwashers. Get the heat dispersed in your oven evenly when you replace your fan oven element. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.
Brilliant service can not fault the service. Will definitely be using the company again if anything happens to my dishwasher or washing machine. Quick fast service. Thank you 😊😊😊😊.
As advertised, as appliance engineers not much else to say about the product except Highly recommend Ransom Spares.
Before I purchase, please advise. FDF784 My machine is sometimes working 100% fine, and then at other times rushes through it's program very quickly and doesn't seem to heat or dry, often pumps water out to drain moments after filling up and starting to wash. I'm not getting an error code and I measured my heater for resistance and it seemed ok at the time of testing. Would an intermittent heater problem cause these issues and make the controller skip normal program time?
Hi Mike, unfortunately we're unable to diagnose faults. I'd recommend contacting an engineer to see if they can advise.
