General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your dishwasher.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
A genuine dishwasher drain hose measuring 1750 mm in size. It's a flexible plastic hose with fittings and clamps at both ends to fit with the dishwasher and plumbing layout.
When you're done washing the dishes in the dishwasher, the drain hose extracts wastewater. That collected wastewater then flows into the home's or kitchen's drainage system.
If your hose becomes tattered, worn out, or gets leaks, you need to replace it.
This dishwasher drain hose is from Hotpoint. It also fits Ariston, Bauknecht, Indesit, Kitchenaid, Scholtes, and Whirlpool dishwashers.
Before ordering, please verify with our compatibility checker that this part is suitable for your model.
I'm a 57 year old single mum n nan and I doubted my ability to fit this myself but figured I would rope one of my sons in to do it if it was too scary. 10 minutes is all it took and the hardest part for me was working out how to remove the bottom of the machine and the plastic holder thingy to pass it through the back lol! once done it fit into the pump easily and securely even for my arthritic hands. I tested for leaks popped the bottom back in place and felt chuffed to bits with myself for saving a small fortune. 4 weeks later I still delight in the fact theres no wet spots from a leaky hose on my utility room floor. delivered super fast too! highly recommend!
