Bosch Dishwasher Rinse Aid Cap Flap Lid & Seal00166623

My original lid kept falling open so I included a new one with my other items, so paid just one delivery charge. It arrived quickly and it was really easy to fit. No more rinse aid leaking out :-)

Our 20 some year old Bosch dishwasher recently started losing the rinse aid very quickly - it was running down the inside of the door. Straight after fitting the new part, there was still some leakage, but after one wash it was fine. Presumably the heat helped the sealing ring bed in. You can prise the old lid out with a screwdriver, as shown on YouTube, but I used some small diagonal cut wire snips to free the plastic near the spigots, allowing them to be gently bent out of the way. To fit the new lid, put it in the open orientation, put one spigot in place, with the other one further up the other side, then twist the lid round till it pops in the hole.

New rinse aid lid that fits perfectly, and closes firmly with a positive click. Replacing a leaking lid that was using way too much rinse aid. Very easy to fit, just pushes into the housing.

The rinse aid door on our slimline Siemens Dishwasher was not sealing correctly and the catch was worn causing it to pop open. Ordered this part, arrived within a couple of days and a really simple job top pop the old one off and pop the new one back on. No tools needed, a quick and simple repair and now works a treat.
