What does the heat exchanger outlet valve do in a dishwasher?
The heat exchanger outlet valve transfers heat between the hot water used for cleaning and the incoming cold water supply. It’s at the bottom of the dishwasher tub and consists of a series of tubes or plates.

Solved E19 Error Code
In respect of my ordering experience, I received an empty envelope without the part delivered in a Royal Mail plastic bag for damaged/missing packages. Can’t entirely blame Ransom Spares for that. Nevertheless, I contacted customer service and their responses were timely and excellent, quickly dispatching the part again and refunding the difference for next day delivery that I paid. They even followed up after sending the part again to make sure I received it this time. The part I received was relatively easy to fit into my Bosch Dishwasher and It immediately solved the E19 error code.

Genuine OEM Heat Exchanger Valve Fixed My E19 Problem
After my dishwasher displayed the E19 fault code, I tested the heat exchanger control valve with a multimeter and confirmed it had no resistance. I ordered a genuine OEM replacement valve from Ransom Spears, which arrived promptly within 48 hours. The valve was easy to fit, and my dishwasher is now working perfectly again.
