What does the heat exchanger outlet valve do in a dishwasher?
The heat exchanger outlet valve transfers heat between the hot water used for cleaning and the incoming cold water supply. It’s at the bottom of the dishwasher tub and consists of a series of tubes or plates.
During operation, the heat exchanger uses the heat from the wastewater being drained to preheat the incoming cold water, which helps to reduce energy consumption by the dishwasher.

Solved E19 Error Code
In respect of my ordering experience, I received an empty envelope without the part delivered in a Royal Mail plastic bag for damaged/missing packages. Can’t entirely blame Ransom Spares for that. Nevertheless, I contacted customer service and their responses were timely and excellent, quickly dispatching the part again and refunding the difference for next day delivery that I paid. They even followed up after sending the part again to make sure I received it this time. The part I received was relatively easy to fit into my Bosch Dishwasher and It immediately solved the E19 error code.

Genuine OEM Heat Exchanger Valve Fixed My E19 Problem
After my dishwasher displayed the E19 fault code, I tested the heat exchanger control valve with a multimeter and confirmed it had no resistance. I ordered a genuine OEM replacement valve from Ransom Spears, which arrived promptly within 48 hours. The valve was easy to fit, and my dishwasher is now working perfectly again. Excellent service and quality part - very happy to have a functioning dishwasher again! Would definitely recommend Ransom Spears for appliance parts.

Great product and service
I ordered this part after my dishwasher stopped working with an E19 error code, and several reviews had said this part could be faulty. The part was easy to order, in stock and arrived quickly. After reading reviews I was expecting the process to be fiddly and take a while to do but the dishwasher was drained, the old part removed and the new part fitted within 30 minutes. No fuss, no mess just one happy customer with a working dishwasher at a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Straightforward to fit with the help of internet video
Received notorious E19 code on my Neff dishwasher. Internet suggested it was replacing this part of the whole machine, so i thought i had little to lose. Part arrived quickly and the job was straightforward (the hardest bit was 'unfitting' the 'fitted' dishwasher to pull it out and access to part). Seems to work perfectly now.

No engineer needed
Bosch said for an E19 error code you need an engineer visit. However, this was not difficult to fit and fixed the issue for me. The addition of a small heat shield made fitting the new part a bit of a pain and I didn’t get it quite right first time resulting in a small leak and E15 error code. But once I’d refitted this valve properly and dried up the cut off device the dishwasher has worked a treat since. Dishwasher was 5 years old before this failed so for £20 if I get another 5 years I’ll be very happy
