General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your dishwasher.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
The drain pump removes dirty water from the dishwasher's tub at the end of a washing cycle. As the dishwasher operates, it accumulates water containing food particles, detergent residue, and other debris. It pumps the water through a drain hose and into the household plumbing system or a designated drain.
The pump's motor or impeller may wear out or become damaged and lead to decreased performance or complete failure. A malfunctioning drain pump can result in drainage issues, such as water not being properly expelled from the dishwasher or water remaining in the tub after the cycle.
This dishwasher drain pump is a genuine Bosch dishwasher spare part. It also fits Balay, Blaupunkt, Bosch, Constructa, Gaggenau, Ikea, Junker, Koenic, Kuppersbusch, Neff, Siemens, Viva dishwashers.
Pump was identical to broken pump so easy to work out how to remove it,put washing up liquid on seals as tight fit and very limited room when finally lined up just push and twist quarter of a turn, plug in wiring block and finished.Hardest part getting to the pump!
Watched a YouTube on how to access and replace the faulty part. The video was clear and easy to understand so I decided to order from this website. The process was simple to follow and the price was reasonable. Ordered on Sunday and arrived on Wednesday. Dishwasher now working.
Purchased a dishwasher part. Was able to to navigate Web site with ease, find part and confirm it would fit my machine.Price and delivery excellent.
Just the part we needed, quick delivery and myself & my husband actually fixed something ourselves 😊
The part took a little longer than expected to arrive (about a week ) but that didn't cause any issues. Part was well packed and with the help of YouTube straight forward to fit. On the whole I'm very happy with the service I received.
