I’m not a qualified domestic appliance service person but if something is broken I’m usually prepared to have a look and see if I can mend it. I watched a YouTube video showing the door spring repair and ordered from Ransom as I have previously for fridge interior parts etc and ‘had a go’ Twenty five minutes later it was all done. The parts arrived in the post two days before the expected date. The toughest part of the repair was removing the old springs which grip directly onto a plastic frame. Actually it doesn’t matter if you damage the plastic a bit since the replacements fix to a slot in the same plastic part clear of where the original springs locate to. Great value and without the hassle and expense of waiting in for someone to perform a simple repair.

Great product to fix broken spring mechanism on Bosch dishwasher. Note that in my case, for a freestanding dishwasher, the top and side panels had to be removed. The top panel has 2 clips on the front edge. The side panels only have a single screw. Then behind a small plastic panel, the old spring mechanism can be accessed. The old spring had to be unscrewed. The new ones tapped in. Brief instructions are included. Not a difficult job. Door works perfectly now. Thanks to ransomspares!

Very easy to install, hardest part was working out how the kitchen installers had installed my integrated dishwasher. Glad the new door springs had the metal bracket to lip into the dishwasher rather than twisting the springs into the dishwasher plastic housing that was already cracked.

Arrived in two days. Super easy to fit. Just follow the enclosed instructions and you can't go wrong.
