How heat delivery and water circulation works in your dishwasher
The heating element and primary wash motor are both integrated into the heat pump's delivery system for the dishwasher. While the heating element is in charge of bringing the water's temperature up, the primary wash motor propels water circulation throughout the dishwasher.
During the wash and rinse cycles, the motor simultaneously turns on the heating element and disperses hot water.
Factors that can damage your dishwasher’s heat pump
Hard water, continuous use without maintenance, and running the dishwasher with excessively hot water can all damage the heat pump. Minerals from hard water can build up over time, reducing efficiency, while frequent use without maintenance can lead to wear and tear. High water temperature can stress the heat pump and other components, potentially causing damage.

Good value product
I bought this heat pump as i was getting the E09 error code which informs you of a heating problem. I knew this as the wash load wasn't drying. Could have bought the Bosch OEM part which was approx £50 dearer, so went for this one. I watched the videos online on how to fit the replacement and it was fairly fiddly getting your hand into the tight space available but managed it ok. Put it back together, loaded the dishwasher and it has been fine ever since, (we use it daily). Very pleased with the outcome and this product.

Saves replacing dishwasher
Bought to replace a failed unit in a Bosch Slimline Dishwasher. Easy to fit without the complexity of some on-line instruction. Simply remove top & right hand panel to reveal the pump, only thing requiring any thought is to remove plug from back of the cabinet as this interlocks the motherboard in place. Once this is done, access is unobstructed and removal/refit is easy. Had had some issues getting admin sorted & Random were excellent in supporting this.

Everybody hates to hear things like "the pump has gone" when it comes to white goods like your dishwasher but in this it couldn't have been less hassle to get ours fixed with this part that was really easy for our engineer to fit and makes it work just like new !

Bosch D-wash Heat Pump. So Happy!
This Bosch Dishwasher Heat Pump Part no: RS864367 did the trick. After getting error code “E09” on my dishwasher, it was debatable whether we replace with a new one or get somebody to fix it or fix it myself. In the end it was an easy job to replace the heat pump myself so ended up saving a lot. The pump was slightly bigger than the original I removed, but still fitted perfectly and has been working perfectly without any issue for weeks now. Very happy with the service from Ransom Spares as well. 5 Stars overall!!

Great product, easy to fit
Bought this for a great price compared to what some sites are selling it for. Took the time to watch a YouTube video on how to change the unit, so was done in half an hour. The screw-type Jubilee clip supplied in the box with the pump is much easier to put back than the manufacturer's original which crimps shut using pliers...

Hello
My son's machine (SMV50C10GB) runs full cycle but no heat - He has not errors codes, not circuits tripping.
It sounds like we need this pump but concerned no erros codes.
Any advice most welcome

Hi, have Bosch Dishwasher model SMV40C10GB/46.
Heating side fine, very noisy from heatpump area, think just a bearing.
Assume need to replace entire pump.
Does unit come with motor assembly?

Hi is the the temperature thermostat/sensor part of the heat pump or is it separate part. My washer is not heating the water.
