General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your dishwasher.
Safety: Switch off at the mains and turn off the water supply before you start, and let it cool first.
A flow-through heater is a heating element designed to heat water as it passes through the dishwasher. It has a metal coil heated by an electrical current.
Cold water enters the dishwasher through a water inlet valve and is pumped over the heating element. The heated water is then used for various purposes, such as washing dishes in a dishwasher.
The flow-through heater is controlled by a thermostat that monitors and maintains the desired water temperature.
A flow-through heater in a dishwasher may need replacement if you experience inadequate heating, notice a burning smell during operation, observe visible damage such as corrosion or cracks in the heating element, or if the dishwasher consistently trips the circuit breaker due to the heating element drawing excessive electrical current.
This flow-through heater is a genuine Beko dishwasher spare part. It also fits Altus, Arcelik, Belling, Blomberg, Bru, Elektra Bregenz, Flavel, Grundig, Howden, Lamona, Leisure, Maytag, Proline, and Technika dishwashers.

Dishwasher stopped heating up during wash cycles and was turned off for a few months. I did some research and concluded it could be the Heat Exchanger. Due to the cost of the part, I figured it was worth a try. Basically -dishwasher now works and the washing cycles are even better than before due to the new part replacement. I highly recommend it. I'm planning on purchasing other parts from this website. Delivery was good and easy.
Fast delivery and great product. I highly recommended
Good price and service. Received promptly, reasonably well packaged.
Thought I was going to have buy a new Dishwasher but then saw this at under £20 so thought I'd have a go at fixing the old one. Perfect replacement part, pretty easy to fit and restored heat to the dishwasher. Stopped me washing up for a bit longer.
Great product, identical to the one I replaced. Very easy to fit and is working perfectly. Very highly recommended.
im not too sure if this is the part i require. my dishwasher water isnt heating and the drying cycle is not drying. please can you advise me.
Hi Caroline, unfortunately we're unable to diagnose faults. I'd recommend contacting an engineer to see if they can confirm the parts you require.
The water in my dishwasher isn't heating up I've replaced the thermostat and still isn't heating up will this heating element be the key? Bear in mind it's olny 2 years old thanks
Hi Mason, it sounds like it could be a faulty element, but I can't guarantee it as we're unable to diagnose the faults.
