General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your dishwasher.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
A heat-resistant rubber or silicone door seal keeps the dishwasher's door or compartment shut. The seal forms a tight barrier when the door is shut to preserve the insulation of the dishwasher and prevent heat and water loss.
Keep an eye out for visible symptoms of wear and tear like fractures, rips, or fraying. If you observe water escaping from the dishwasher door or changes in temperature during the washing up, it may be a sign that the seal has broken. Uneven heating or overheating comes from a weak seal.
This dishwasher door seal is a genuine Beko dishwasher part. It also fits Altus, Arcelik, Beko, Belling, Blomberg, Bru, Defy, Diplomat, Elektra Bregenz, Flavel, Grundig, Howden, Lamona, Leisure, Maytag, and Proline dishwashers. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.
This is the second time I've bought parts from Ransom's and as always, the product does exactly as was promised. The part actually arrived earlier than I was expecting, it took 5 minutes to remove the old failed seal and replace it. Excellent product that does exactly what it says on the tin. Highly recommend this company.
Easy to fit once you put it in the right way round as it fits both ways and it is difficult to tell which way it should go!
Great product and quality, also very good prices. I will definitely use them again.
This was a perfect fit (and easy to fit) for my Diplomat HJA8630 dishwasher. Prompt delivery too.
Excellent product, price and prompt delivery. Very, very, happy !
