Turned out both original springs had snapped when replacing strings, so glad I purchased these too!

Loud metalic ping from dishwasher and door now suddenly drops heavily when opened as weight not counter-balanced by spring system. I ordered 2 springs with a view to replacing the spring on either side of the door; good job as both springs had broken. New springs appear to be identical to the originals, competitively priced and arrived in a couple of days. Easy job to complete once the integrated appliance is out; half a dozen screws on each side to remove the panel and there are UTube tutorials if in doubt. There is also a "rope" pulley system that the springs connect to, so if you have time it would be worth checking that it is actually the spring(s) that have broken or order the ropes as well as they are as cheap as paying a second delivery charge.

Good product quite easy to fit ( I had to by Torx screw driver set to remove panels )

Fitted and working. Seems to be fine, only time will tell the longevity.
