Not the right length but I managed to find a way to make it work
Supposed to be an original replacement part and I checked my machine code on the website which confirmed it was the right part for my machine. It was actually about 2cm longer than the original and whilst there is some adjustment in the machine, it wasn't enough to make up for the extra length, so I had to tie a knot in the string to shorten it. Not ideal, but it works ok now. Just hope the knot doesn't weaken the string causing it to break.
