This is a genuine drain filter for your dishwasher in white. Made of plastic and mesh for daily dishwashing.
During the dishwasher's wash cycle, food bits and other gunk get washed off dishes and into the dishwasher's water. The drain's microfilters catch these bits and stop them from going back onto clean dishes.
When the filter is blocked with debris, it restricts the flow of water, leading to poor drainage and potentially causing water to back up in the dishwasher. Change it with this replacement part.
