Needed a new thermostat for an oven ,the Ransom spares site made finding the right part easy, delivery was prompt, oven was back & working in only 2 days , I will use Ransomspares again for sure .

Replaced the thermostat in my IKEA oven with this one - is pretty much exact type to what was in there before. Been a month now and is all working fine. I like that the new thermostat is a genuine Whirlpool part, easy to check the part numbers match to give confidence before you swap them over. The service from Ransom was first class with the thermostat arriving the next day. Fitting was more involved than I expected, but this is all down to how Whirlpool have designed and manufactured their oven. (I'm not happy that the thermostat failed within 5 years on a low usage oven, but that's not Ransom's fault). The cable run from the control to the back of the oven is hidden beneath a lot of casing and it was also cable tied to the wiring loom. Fortunately I had spare cable ties to replace them with. So to sum up, great part supply, a more involved than expected fix but I have my oven back to it's best.

My previous thermostat failed in a cooker used by tenants in a rented appartment. The replacement item sent by Ransom Spares arrived on time as stated and the fitting instructions/video were perfect. Always best to look over these videos in advance as the Whirlpool cooker needed to have quite a few panels removed to be able to remove the old/faulty thermostat. This made it much easier and saved me a lot of time. All is working perfectly now. What more can I say!
