Description
This is a genuine grill element. Made of metal that withstands high oven temperatures.
It’s positioned at the top of your oven so it sends the heat downward. Grill, broil, or roast your food placed on the top rack of your oven.
Also gives you a variety of cooking results. You can crisp, caramelise, or brown your food depending on the temperature you set while cooking.
If your oven is no longer getting hot then it could be due to a faulty grill element.

OEM product at a great price
Only paying a third of the price of other spares providers I was expecting a low quality product that would do for what I wanted. I was surprised and grateful to receive an OEM product in a SMEG bag. How do they do it. By the way - fitted in 10 mins and works like a dream.

Worked as expected
Easy to fit once I worked out that there were nuts beneath the connection covers as well as outside them. A simple diagram of parts would have been useful. Fitted and works. Time will tell how long it works for, though as it is SMEG branded it should last a long while.

Hi James, I can confirm this is the correct grill element for the smaller oven on your model. You would usually need to remove the oven to fit this via the back.
