Neff Oven Supports
Not the easiest items to fit but with careful planning and marking screw positions before removal I managed to fit the parts. Should they fail again I would not hesitate to replace them again myself

Cheaper than a new oven!
Not the fault of Ransom - who offer fast service and immediate availability - but these rack holders are a design weakness by Neff. Several have failed over the years because the are made of poor metal. And at £20+ including postage they are expensive to replace with parts that are just as poor.

Exactly what I needed
I needed a new socket to replace a broken one that held a shelf support in my Neff oven. This pack provides relacements for all four sockets (two of each type) so I have some spare. I thought that the built-in oven would be heavy and possibly difficult to remove from the cupboard so asked a local tradesman to do the work (the cost was not onerous). I saw that it was a straightforward job for him to remove the oven and support it on a workmate, and he had the right screwdriver to remove all the screws and lift off the side and top. The new socket fits firmly, and the work took approximately an hour overall. If ever I needed to have this done again I wouldn't hesitate to do it myself. Happy with the result.

A small item that made a big difference
A socket holding one of our side oven racks in place was damaged, resulting in the rack becoming detached. Thankfully a replacement was found at Ransom Spares and with a little guidance I was able to remove the side of the oven and replace the damaged socket in question. Only a small item but it made a big difference in using the oven.

parts ordered was as advertised, delivery was not too long so, good delivery time.as for the fitting.The same as some other reviews, parts are a bit awkward to fit, but got there after a while. Would use web site again, if and when I required something in there range. Thank you

Pain to Fit
The original ones broke about 4 weeks after delivery of new oven. Have been searching everywhere for replacements and even Bosch/Siemens Greece could not/would not help. When trying to fit them had no instructions, but have to remove bottom panel and then had to use needle files to adjust wholes enough for a snug fit. Once in great.

great product - relevantly easy to fit
One side of the oven was perfect to fit - the other side we had to file down the screws to fit. But otherwise very pleased with goods and service.

Not too easy to fit
Parts arrived quickly and were of a good quality. You can't fit these without removing the oven from the kitchen carcass and you then need to remove the side oven cover and get through the insulation to fit the retaining clip. I completed it all in about half an hour but got more nervous as more of the oven was stripped back to access where the parts go. If you are confident then straight forward but if you are not then best left to the Neff engineer.
