Ransom next day service was exemplary - ordered Easter Monday at 3pm, arrived before 10am next morning. As for the product, it's shiney and looks the part but the triangular sheet metal fixing plate was poor. The retaining tabs were pressed out the wrong side and only 2 of the 3 required fixing holes were drilled. I could have drilled it myself and amended the tabs but decided to use the original Neff triangular plate off the old fan assembly - no problem at all. As someone else has pointed out, you can't use the original Neff fan because the spindle is too short, but I don't really know why you'd want to anyway. The fan impeller supplied looks a bit simple and cheap but it does the job just the same. The original Neff fan motor which came with the oven has lasted over 20 years - let's just see how long this one lasts. At currently around a quarter of the OEM fan price, it's a very good buy - for now.

The motor was received at the Royal Mail office in time for the scheduled delivery (Friday a.m.) but due to staff shortages it remained there , undelivered, until I went to claim it (Sunday p.m.). So paying extra for a premium delivery service was a total waste of money! The part itself was an easy fit after removing the unneeded triangular plate, but the motor shaft is shorter than the original, so unable to refit the better quality fan from the original and had to use the one supplied, which does the same job but slightly less efficiently. Overall pleased with the purchase from this company and will not hesitate to use them again for parts (as I have done in the past).

Initially I was offered the Bosch/Neff part nearly three times the price I paid for this alternative. Fitting is straightforward but I needed a friend to help remove the integrated oven. Ours is an old model so we had to remove the triangular back plate. That done the reassembly was easy. We are delighted with its performance…. Christmas lunch is next to be sorted!

This item is definitely good value for money. The whole fitting process took about 30 minutes because I had to play with the screws to avoid having an annoying noise while operating. It could be that the "driveshaft" slightly differed in length with my previous motor but I eventually managed to fit it well. Thanks to this spare part, my oven lifespan has been extended of several years.
