Details / Specifications

The compatible Neff Fan Oven Element is a circular oven element designed to create resistance and radiate heat in compatible models of Bosch, Siemens, and Neff ovens and cookers. The round element has two turns to regulate the flow of electricity and heat up the oven. The original turbo element was fitted with an earth tag earlier, which is now a discarded practice as per the Bosch technical handbook. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all existing wires are either fastened out or isolated before installing the round oven element.

Specifications:

  • Power: 2300 W
  • Turns: 2
  • Tags: 18 mm
  • Height: 258 (mm)
  • Width 195 mm

Great product delivered promptly

By Jacqueline Franklin - West Byfleet - Today

When our oven suddenly stopped working we looked to the internet for guidance and were extremely fortunate to find Ransom Spares website. Their diagnostic video helped us pinpoint the most likely cause which was the fan element. We quickly found a compatible element on Ransom’s website and put in an order. The replacement element was received within two days. Once again using the site’s video for guidance, my husband installed it. What a relief when we switched the oven on and it was in full working order again. A fantastic service from Ransom Spares and a great spare part at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

What a cinch!

By Barry Flatters - Bourne - 15th Sep 2020

This is one of the easist elements I have ever fitted. On finding the element was faulty I went on to Ransom's site and found replacement element in no time at all. Element was ordered, and owing to fact it was weekend, it was with me in a few days. I find the site is one of the easist site's I have been on, everything is easy to find and order. Brilliant site I have passed on to my friends to use when they need anything. Well done! Ransom's team, keep up the good work.

Good product, easy to fit

By Richard Sheridan - Lightwater - 15th Sep 2020

The product arrived promptly and was easy to fit. This is the 3rd element we have fitted over the past 13 years all supplied by Ransomspaares. I do think that the original Bosh element lasted a lot longer.

I find these elements last about 3 years. Much better value than the OE part.

Oven

The part arrived as advised and was easy to fit . Only seem to last a couple of years but for the price it’s better for me to order again than pay much more for a genuine manufactures replacement Part .

Ease of Fitting

Cheap, lasted over 2 years

By Ellis Pritchard - Alton - 9th Jul 2020

Apart from difficulty detaching the rear lining of the oven (had to drill a screw out, not the part's fault), this was easy to fit, referencing the very good fitting video on this site. The part has just failed, after 2 years, 3 months service, in an oven where we only really use the fan setting. I expect all the bread-making during lockdown has finished it off! Would I be a fool to try the more expensive Ego part, in the hope it lasts three times longer for three times the price?

Ease of Fitting

Cheap and simple replacement, hand-held all the way

By John Ross - Midlothian - 17th Jun 2020

OK, you have to know that it's the element that has blown (usually hidden away, and not visibly different) and you need to be able to get the old one out.. But, with relatively little poking around on the internet I had the Ransom's site open and clearly the most unambiguous parts site among those that I looked at.. and a price - nine quid or so (!) - that had me triple-checking that all aspects of size and spec were actually right. The ordered part came quickly, adquately packaged, and then it was a matter of removing the dud in the oven. It's a bit inaccessible, the torx bolts presume that you have the right tools (or it's game over), and the factory settings mean that they're in tight. The electrical spade connectors don't come out a long way and I was in some fear that they'd recoil into the inaccessible depths of the oven internals. But they didn't; and I had the new part sized, checked with a multimeter (yes, good to have one of those already too), and ready to commit to the swap. The Ransom's 'how to..' youtube video had me sorted in minutes. Mrs Wife had the pleasure of switching it all on afterwards, and I was Best in Show for the rest of the week. End-to-end service, not a flaw. A shining DiY repair-man moment, for buttons cost. Am almost tempted to buy another reserve part now, just in case.. Very happy customer. Thanks guys.

Help please :-) On removing my old element it had 3 spade connectors with one of them appearing to be an earth to the bracket but the new element only has 2 spade connectors (no earth to the bracket). I'm sure I read somewhere that on most ovens the earth is no longer need and can be taped up and just pushed back, is this correct. Oven is NEFF U1410W0GB/06 (circa 1999) Thanks Nick

Hi Nick. You are right regarding this, a lot of old Bosch and Neff ovens had the earth tags which are no longer required. We recommend you get an electrician to safely secure away the earth connection for this, once this is done just put the element in like normal and it will work fine.
