Details / Specifications

The compatible Neff Fan Oven Element is a circular oven element designed to create resistance and radiate heat in compatible models of Bosch, Siemens, and Neff ovens and cookers. The round element has two turns to regulate the flow of electricity and heat up the oven. The original turbo element was fitted with an earth tag earlier, which is now a discarded practice as per the Bosch technical handbook. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all existing wires are either fastened out or isolated before installing the round oven element.

Specifications:

  • Power: 2300 W
  • Turns: 2
  • Tags: 18 mm
  • Height: 258 (mm)
  • Width 195 mm

Annual Replacement

By David Goldring - Glasgow - 6th Feb 2019

I order three of these parts at a time, they have a life span of 1 year almost to the day! The element is easy to change with the correct tools, a butterfly screwdriver, a drill and common sense - no need for expensive callouts! I have now re-ordered this part from Ransom Spares for the second time and I am very happy with the quality of product and speed at which the order arrived - highly recommended.

Ease of Fitting

Got there in the end

By Roy Stephenson - Redhill - 2nd Jan 2019

My daughter's NEF oven element burnt out. We watched the Ransom Spare video, we bought a replacement, speedy delivery despite the week before Christmas. Its an awkward job because its an oven. Do be careful not to loose the wires down the back, one popped out as we put it back together, and did not know until testing. Also if its a NEF redo the solitary screw holding the element in place at about 5 o'clock before the two screws at the element attachment place at 11o'clock. Other wise the flat head of the solitary screw won't get past the element. But job done and it worked, so good result all round, don't forget to turn the power off first.

Ease of Fitting

Works well, easy to fit

By Adrian D - Bishops Stortford - 19th Dec 2018

The product arrived quickly and was really straightforward to fit. I do wish that I bought some new screws for the panel - the old screws were worn and took time to remove. However, the element works well - just in time for Christmas!

Great product, perfect & easy to fit

By Arun - Brentwood - 27th Oct 2018

My old oven broke down, so I Googled what I could do to fix it. Ransom spares gave good advice regarding the most common fault being the heating element and how to replace it. A few clicks later I had identified the part on their website and had the part delivered the next working day. The part was a perfect fit and has been working flawlessly. Excellent service all round and fantastic value.

Kitchen lifesaver, for the have-a-go amateur!

By John Ross - Edinburgh - 8th Oct 2018

Firstly, the Ransom website popped up high in the search engine listings.. Secondly, the parts listing is intuitive to use (search for the model, and the rest falls into place..); Thirdly, the detail on this specific part was excellent - I was in no doubt, by the time I hit 'Purchase'; Fourthly, the price was so right .. ; Fifth, the Ransom YouTube videos give you all the clear instruction you need (minor markdown on my Ease of Fitting rating, simply because the connector wires are short and if they tugged and recoiled back into the hole, the resultant stripdown to retrieve them would be prohibitive for many - myself, included); and Sixth.. Despatch was prompt and delivery soon after. Lucky seventh (ok, not everyone has the Torx tool bits needed for part access on this oven, but I did..), it fitted easily and my wife was overjoyed, and probably impressed. Huge thanks, guys. Some things in Britain are still great.... ;-)

Help please :-) On removing my old element it had 3 spade connectors with one of them appearing to be an earth to the bracket but the new element only has 2 spade connectors (no earth to the bracket). I'm sure I read somewhere that on most ovens the earth is no longer need and can be taped up and just pushed back, is this correct. Oven is NEFF U1410W0GB/06 (circa 1999) Thanks Nick

Hi Nick. You are right regarding this, a lot of old Bosch and Neff ovens had the earth tags which are no longer required. We recommend you get an electrician to safely secure away the earth connection for this, once this is done just put the element in like normal and it will work fine.
