Description

How does your oven fan element function?

This fan element generates and distributes heated air across the oven cavity. As electricity passes through your oven, it converts the electrical energy into heat, allowing your oven to reach and maintain the optimum cooking temperature.

With this even distribution of heat, you can cook your favourite meals thoroughly and precisely whether you're baking, roasting, or grilling them.

Why does it need replacing?

The high heat the fan element is exposed to during cooking can cause it to degrade or malfunction over time. It's probably time to replace the fan element if you observe uneven heating, lengthier preheating periods, or variable cooking results.

How do you install a fan oven element?

Check our demo video below on how to fit a replacement fan oven element. This part fits Bosch, Neff, Siemens, and Tecnik cookers and hobs. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.

Good quality part

After looking at other websites for replacement quality parts, I always seem to get the best part for a reasonable price at ransom spares. Super quick in dispatching parts, and normally come next day, even it’s a 2-3 delivery service.I don’t go anywhere else to buy my spares parts. Brilliant communication with tracking numbers. Many thanks

NEFF OVEN FAN ELEMENT

Quick Easy transaction, shipping faster than expected, said it would arrive by Monday turned up Friday before. Well Packaged. Installation Process: 1) Cut power to oven - I removed 13 amp plug, check power is off;) 2) Remove Oven door for ease of access. 3) Remove rear panel screws using Torq allen key. Screw were a bit tight to get off, make sure you keep allen key straight, you may need extra leverage, but keep pressure direct behind the screw to avoid damaging head 4) Lift panel up slightly to remove 5) Remove torq screws holding element 6) Slowly draw out element to expose wires 7) Make a careful note of wires and their positions on the element connectors, 3 wires go onto 3 out of 4 connectors. Take a picture as a failsafe and make sure it's clear where the wires go. 8) remove wires one at time, pull at base of connector 9) remove faulty fan element and position new element in correct orientation 10) Replace wires in exact positions as before by pushing on connectors Note. Make sure wire connectors are clear of each other, the orientation of the connectors can help keep the wires separated. 11) Fix the element with the torq screws 12) Rehang back panel and fix with torq screws 13) Plug in oven and test fan oven mode briefly - should feel heat / fan 14) If all OK replace door and make yourself a cup of coffee Optional extras a) I put a little copperslip on screws so they are easier to remove next time. Screws only need to be nipped up, not over tightened b) With oven door off good chance to clean around the entrance of the oven and clean the oven door glass. Oven glass door pops off easily to clean both sides if the inside of the glass has got dirty. Less than 10 minutes if you need to get job done and have the tools to hand. Less than 60 minutes if you giving the oven a thorough clean at same time. Difficulty level, slightly harder than wiring a plug, but if you're not confident get a professional in, Complete this job at your own risk, Notes above are purely for reference and do not constitute recommended installation procedure.

Good cheap fix for our NEF oven

Initially, my missus was sizing up a new oven as the fan element seemed to stop working. I took a look on the internet and the spare part from Ransom Spares was the best price. I picked the part up the next working day from the local depot and fitted it in 15 minutes - all good and working better than before. Your system was easy to use and the part was available as promised. Overall good experience. I will look for items like this at Ransom Spares first in future.

Excellent and Quick

Oven failed on the Friday afternoon before the bank holiday - of course it would. Ordered this and arrived Tuesday (next working day) at 12:38 took 12 minutes to fit, all done from the front, no removing oven from housing, and back in working condition. Have previously used expensive OEM parts, lasting around 10 years, so pleased with the exact fit and now wait to see longevity. Very competitive price and delivery as promised. What more can one ask - well I suppose should there be any future failure for it to be earlier in the working week.

Where can I get clips and screws to hold new element in Neff cooker

Hi Clive, Here is a link to a universal element fixing kit that we provide.

Help please :-) On removing my old element it had 3 spade connectors with one of them appearing to be an earth to the bracket but the new element only has 2 spade connectors (no earth to the bracket). I'm sure I read somewhere that on most ovens the earth is no longer need and can be taped up and just pushed back, is this correct. Oven is NEFF U1410W0GB/06 (circa 1999) Thanks Nick
By Nick - LUTTERWORTH - 16/01/2019
Hi Nick. You are right regarding this, a lot of old Bosch and Neff ovens had the earth tags which are no longer required. We recommend you get an electrician to safely secure away the earth connection for this, once this is done just put the element in like normal and it will work fine.
