Senses the oven temperature and switches the heat on and off to hold the setting you choose.
Tick the symptoms your appliance is showing. We’ll tell you how confident we are this part is the fix.
Error codes are model dependent, so the same brand may have more than one listed.
| Code | Brand | What it means | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| E3 | Beko | Means an overheating issue, a temperature sensor (thermistor) failure, or a faulty connection. It is usually caused by a sensor fault or overheating on induction hobs, and a sensor circuit failure on ovens. | High |
| E5 | Beko | Means a sensor malfunction, often an open circuit or a faulty NTC temperature sensor, so the oven cannot heat correctly. It is usually caused by a failed NTC temperature sensor or an open circuit. | High |
| F10 | Beko | Means a runaway temperature fault, where the oven has overheated or the control board has read an out of range temperature. It is usually caused by a faulty temperature probe, a defective control board, or a wiring issue. | High |
| F2 | Beko | Means a temperature sensor (thermistor or thermostat) fault, or an overheating issue in the oven or hob, so the control board cannot read the oven temperature accurately. It is usually caused by a faulty sensor or a failed control board, often making the appliance shut down to prevent damage. | High |
| F3 | Beko | Means a faulty temperature sensor (thermistor) or a shorted circuit, causing the oven to overheat or read the temperature inaccurately. It is usually caused by the sensor on the back wall of the oven or a faulty control board. | High |

General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your cooker.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
This is a genuine E.G.O. thermostat replacement for your oven.
E.G.O. oven thermostats allow you to precisely set temperature readings for the cooking conditions you choose. Your food can be baked, roasted, or broiled in the oven without burning, undercooking or overcooking.
Also helps in preheating your oven to reduce your cooking time and achieve the best results.
Oven thermostats might lose accuracy, get damaged internally, or fail to switch off if the capillary tube breaks. This could lead to the thermostat light staying on, and the oven heating non-stop. Change it with this replacement thermostat.
This oven thermostat is from Lamona. Also fits Beko, Flavel, and Howden cookers and hobs.
