What is a wire shelf for in ovens?
Your trays and pans for cookies, roasted chicken, and crispy oven-baked fries rest on the wire shelf in the oven.

Cooker Rack
Purchased this cooker rack for an Indesit ID67V9KMB/UK cooker, it came with just two wire racks and one moveable shelf which we use as a drip try catcher in the bottom of the oven, this shelf is actually better than those that came with the cooker as you can slide items off the shelf easier, very happy

Nice one Ransom
In a day and age where oven manufactures seem to sell you a product with only one wire rack or a built in grill without a grill tray ,I'm so glad that they don't make teapots as well or we would be asking Ransom for the spout ! Glad to say that Ransom had the wire rack we required and it fit's perfectly in our oven . Nice one and thank you Ransom spares ! I will look to you should I need any more spares .
