Problems with top oven heating up to full potential. I had renewed every thermostat:- 130c Thermostat and cut out Thermostat, after testing there was nothing wrong. The main thermostat was the only part I had not renewed and renewing this part is a job. The front facia will have to be removed to lift up hob on cooker and removal of rear covering. Extreme care is required to avoid damaging bulbs and other parts. It is a fiddly job, removing existing thermostat, reconnecting terminals and following root of thermostat. The oven does heat up now but still not happy with the speed.

Straightforward replacement. Our top oven was burning things, the bottom oven and the grill were fine. So rather than spend £400 on a new oven, I bought and fitted this. 15 minute job, and everything now works correctly again. better price than many, including the manufacturer are offering.

The part was a direct replacement for one that no longer functioned - no heat, no temperature light. Fitting is quite involved and requires removal of back, hob and front control panel. I spent time on YouTube watching tutorials which is well worth the effort. Nothing complex, no special tools but it is time consuming. Oven back to normal use. Although Ransomes are better value than other retailers this part seems expensive for what it is. Good website and delivery. Packaging a bit flimsy but this and previous goods have arrived intact.
