The new regulator fitted easily into place and grill now working
Not sure which switch was compatible with my oven ? Contacted Ransom spares and they identified correct part, supplied a link for me to order, very simple order process. Item came within 3 days, excellent turn around. Fitted the part which was identical to the original in no time at all. Superb service, certainly use again.
Good quality. Easy to fit. Will use again. Thanks
The right cooker part arrived within two day. Excellent services will certainly use you again
Quickly delivered, straight swap - but make sure you record where the cables go to. I did with a photo. Swapping was easy and I got DIY cred for the task from "the boss". All working well and inexpensively.
Does this switch work the grill on model IDD6340wh
Hi Peter, the part you require is RS825366.
I have a Hotpoint HUD61GS dual cooker and the double grill only heats left side when on double. Is Part Number: RS184894 right?
Hi Dan, the top oven switch for your model is RS184893.
will this regulator (rs184894) work on the hotpoint ew52g twin grill. thanks nudyone
Hi Wilfred, the part you require is RS9502.
Hi my Hotpoint HUD1G S is not working properly, the fan runs and the light comes on but the oven does not, does it need a new switch or thermostat. Many thanks. Chris
Hi Chris, if everything is working, but the oven is not getting hot, it sounds most likely to be the fan element, which is part RS8443. We're unable to be 100% sure, so you'd need to speak to an engineer to confirm.
I have a Hotpoint DHS53CXS. The grill has stopped working but the top oven still works. I have replaced the Regulator Twin Circuit code RS 184894 which I purchased from you. This did not fix the problem. I then purchased locally a new grill element but unfortunately that also did not fix the problem. On examination of the replacement switch I notice that the new switch will rotate 360 degrees whereas the old switch has a stop position at 180 degrees. Could this mean that the new part is faulty.
Hi Barry, thanks for your message. The replacement switch packs are meant to be able to move 360°. I recommend contacting an engineer to see if they can isolate the fault to ensure you replace the correct part.
