Why do ovens have an inner door glass?
The oven compartment is effectively separated from the exterior environment by the inner door glass. It helps in maintaining the oven's proper temperature.
The transparent door glass allows for minimal heat loss and allows you to see what's inside the oven without opening it. It lessens the possibility of burns by keeping the oven door's outside cool to the touch.

Great service and price
Ordered the oven door glass on Friday, not expecting delivery until after the weekend taking into account of the postal strikes and delays. To my amazement the parcel was delivered at lunchtime Saturday. On top of that the part was approx £50.00 cheaper than buying from the manufacture. Couldn't ask for anything better. Will definitely use Ransom Spares again.

Brilliant product, great service...
Given it a few weeks to leave a review so that I can give an honest true one, ordered a replacement inner oven glass door for my hotpoint oven after I broke mine trying to clean it. Found one on this site, price was very reasonable and delivery was fast, the door itself has been absolutely fine, I would definitely order from here in the future as I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend to others, they get 5 stars from me!! Very happy customer.

I broke the glass when cleaning the oven. Ransom Spares had the exact replacement part in stock at a really good price. Ordered online and the new glass arrived the next day. Brilliant!
