I bought this for my Belling Format cooker with a Halogen hob that regulates itself when turned on, until it decided that it would no longer, and wanted to be either be fully on continuously, or off. This looked to be the correct part, thanks to the website allowing me to match the exact model number of my cooker. So I bought it. Dismantling the cooker to get to the switch was tricky. It's not as simple as the online videos. With this cooker, the side panels need to be removed first, to get access to the screws that secure the hob in place. After removing the hob screws, the hob needs a good push up at the front, as there are hidden clips holding it to the front panel. Then finally, an end bracket has to be removed to allow the perspex front panel to slide out. That allows access to the 2 screws to remove the hob switch. Once removed, it was a relief to see that this switch is a genuine part and an exact match. When everything was refitted, the hob works perfectly again. Excellent!

Three days before Christmas - hot plate is either on or off - nothing in between. Easy to locate replacement on Ransom's website. Speedy delivery not that expensive and part arrived as promised. Belling regulators are never 'easy' to fit ... but that's not Ransom's issue. I did indeed fit the part on Christmas Eve and all was well. Ransom website also gives me confidence that the part is compatible ... that's a great plus when ordering on-line.

Very easy change over and good to find correct part for an old cooker. Big variations on price for this item but is an essential part. Very reliable Company!

OVEN HOB TEMPERATURE ENERGY REGULATOR SWITCH Once I had disassembled the cooker enough to gain access to replace the part, the regulator was easy to change using the included guidance notes. All worked fine after re-assembling cooker.
