Bought this to replace my Solarspeed Halogen element which is no longer available. Although it's not a halogen element it heats up suprisingly quick, very pleased with it and the price and speed of delivery.

The replacement part was identified and ordered with Ransom's as the lowest price. Working fine some months later. Fitting was not simple although I have fitted another element previously on this cooker I had forgotten just how many screws there were to undo. This is down to cooker design not the spare part. The element itself required carefull attention to get the correct orientation and cable connections. The design was slightly different to the original and use of a self tapping screw into the ceramic ring was required.

The price was very good compared to competition. Prompt delivery. With regard to quality, only gave item 4 out of 5 as although it appears to be good, only time will tell. Fitting the element is not difficult but it does involve stripping down quite a lot of the top as my cooker has a rear top control unit.

Excellent service and quality of parts once again. I'm very impressed with this company and fully recommend their service. The part arrived well packed and was easy to fit.
