Great Product, was a bit nervous but easy!
It was either pay someone a fortune, or try to replace this myself. The video gave me the confidence to give it a go, and whilst it wasn't exactly the same fitting, the principles were, and within an hour job done, and back to a fully functioning cooker again!

High speed grill
I haven't fitted the grill yet but it seems easy to do. It was good value for money, with other sellers asking almost double the price for the same item. I will certainly go back to Ransom spares again if I need other parts in the future.

Great value product
This is a great value product - cerainly saved me buying a new cooker. Only held in with 4 screws so I thought easy to fit myself but to get at the wires and contacts I had to takes the back off the cooker. It was easy enough but 15 or more screws and remember where they all went lol. But nearly anyone should be able to do it if I did. Thanks Ransome for best value product I could find.

Major fitting issues
Bought this product as a replacement for the solarplus grill on my Creda Model 48121 double oven cooker which was installed in 1990. The exact replacement grill is still available but at an exorbitant price namely £150. For this age of cooker this not an option. The part supplied is an excellent replacement but has major fitting issues. The exact replacement has extensions on the grill which enables the grill to be attached at the front with two screws. The new grill has the correct fixing at the rear but no means of attaching the grill at the front. What is required is two simple brackets to support the front of the grill using the existing fixing holes on the cooker. In my case I put a rod through the front of the grill and used two straight brackets to attach the grill to the existing holes on the cooker. It is easy for a competent DIY person to solve but is not straight forward. Once fitted grill is a excellent replacement.

Cooker Grill
Fitted perfectly, even though the cooker was 20 years old. The spare part was not a replica 'high speed' grill but the standard grill. It involved removal of 4 screws in the top oven and taking the back off the cooker to get to the electrical tails . Woks well, if a little slower than the high speed version.

Great product
The product came with excellent packaging and good value from Ransom spares, however, there is no fitting instructions and on YouTube it looks easy, but you need to disconnect the wires from the back first, then remove the OLD element via the 4 screws (2 at the back and 2 in front), inside grill. took me 30 mins overall. removing the back cover on the cooker took longer than the replacement grill.

Creda Europa solarplus grill only working on the 2 left hand elements. Is this possibly a switch problem or do all elements not fail at same time?
Hi Daniel, unfortunately we're unable to diagnose faults. I would recommend contacting an engineer to see if they can advise the part required.
