This is a genuine 1200W bottom heater element in stainless steel.
It's at the base of your oven, sending heat upward. You can grill, broil, or roast food on the bottom rack. It can also crisp, caramelise, or brown your dishes depending on the temperature you set before cooking.
When the oven isn't reaching the set temperature or isn't heating at all, or if you notice visible signs of damage such as blisters, cracks, or breaks on the element, it’s time to change it with this replacement part.
This bottom heater element is from Hotpoint. Also fits Ariston, Cannon, Creda, Export, Indesit, and Whirlpool cookers and hobs.

- 0:29 - Remove top oven panel
- 0:40 - Remove screws to access rear oven panel
- 0:46 - Remove side oven panel
- 1:01 - Remove electrical connectors
- 1:14 - Remove screw holding bottom heater element tray in place
- 1:21 - Remove old bottom heater element
- 1:36 - Install new bottom heater element
- 2:18 - Attach electric connectors to new bottom heater element
- 2:30 - Re-screw screw to secure bottom heater element tray
- 2:44 - Tidy insulation
- 2:56 - Re-attach side oven panel
- 3:11 - Re-screw screws for rear oven panel
- 3:17 - Re-attach top oven panel

The website was easy to use and quickly identified the correct top oven heater element for my Cooker model. The part was good value, packed well and quick delivery time. The postal charges were reasonable with a good selection of options. The heater element proved difficult to fit but this was down to the make of Oven and not anything to do with the part. The back, right side and front of oven had to be stripped to enable the Top Oven, base heater element to be fitted. Would certainly use Ransom Spares again and can thoroughly recommend

The delivery was fast, the product was spot on but taking the oven apart was not so much fun. Though I realise that is not Ransom's problem.

Replacement cooker element
The replacement cooker element was delivered promptly and well packaged. The install required the total removal of the cooker and major dismantling to enable the fitting. The reverse process to rebuild and reinstall was quite straightforward and the cooker is now back to full working order.

Hotpoint Top (mini) oven. Lower Element.
Part was reasonably priced and came quickly. Not overly easy to fit, as back and both side panels need to be removed, and top lifted slightly. (Down to cooker design). Once fitted and re-assembled it all worked fine. I've used these people before and will use them again when needed in the future.
