This is a genuine stainless steel bottom heating element with a power rating of 1000W.
It’s at the base of your oven sending heat upward. You can grill, broil, or roast your food placed on the bottom rack of your oven. Depending on the temperature set, you can also crisp, caramelise, or brown your dishes.
If your oven is no longer getting hot then it could be due to a faulty heater element.

Hi I have an AEG OVEN CP3003021M 3.5KW TYP 71BLB03 AG (94418571701) Keeps tripping the circuit. had an engineer look at it his prognosis ( oven reading 2mohms and dropping when heating suspect element. how many elements does this oven have and is it a straight forward job ? please help.

Hi Ash, there are 3 different elements in this model: the upper element - RS669585, the fan oven element RS652514 and the base element RS672571.

I guess this is pretty basic question but is this element for the base of the “ top oven/ grill” or the base of the lower oven? Thanks
