General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your cooker.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
The element creates a constant cooking temperature by converting electrical energy into heat when electricity passes through it. Whether baking, roasting, or grilling, this assures thorough and uniform cooking.
The extreme heat of cooking could cause it to degrade or cease to function. The element in your oven has to be replaced if it's not heating up properly, takes longer to reach the desired temperature, or has obvious hot or cold patches.
This fan oven element fits Electrolux, AEG, Elektro Helios, Faure, Husqvarna Electrolux, Ikea, John Lewis, Juno, Lamona, Progress, Rex, Rosenlew, Voss, Zanker, and Zanussi ovens.
To verify compatibility, check the model number and specifications provided on the product page.
Rather awkward removing one of the 4 screws holding the cover of the element but with just the right amount of swearing and force this was achieved. The fitting of the replacement was simple. The oven works perfectly. Top tip: Clean the oven first!
