General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your cooker.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
The fan element disperse heat by drawing air from the oven, passing it over the heating element to warm it up, and circulating the heated air throughout the oven cavity. The fan's forced convection creates a consistent flow of hot air, resulting in an even distribution of heat around the food being cooked.
Fan oven elements can fail with high cooking temperatures. If you experience improper heating, longer preheating times, or noticeable variations in temperature within the oven, it is necessary to replace the fan element.
See our video tutorial below on how to fit a fan oven element.
This fan oven element is a genuine Bosch oven replacement part. It also fits Neff, Siemens, and Tecnik cookers and hobs.
Please note that the following video will give you a guide on how to fit this part, however the exact fitting may differ depending on your make and model.
Safety Warning - Always unplug from the mains before carrying out any repairs.
Found the part easily enough, and a at really good price. Arrived after a few days, and started to install it. Unfortunately, my model, unlike the one shown in the video, required the back of the oven to come off, but no real issue with that. Fitted it easily enough, but would have been a real bonus if new screws were supplied as well to replace the original ones that had deteriorated due to the heat. But, it all went together perfectly and worked as good as new. Highly recommend supplier and products.
Came quickly and an exact fit for the failed element. Not as easy to fit as I had hoped because it was screwed in from the back of the oven which meant taking the oven out and the back off. Once this was done it was a simple job to replace the old one. Oven works properly now.
Good all round service . Heating element for fan assisted oven . Never fitted one before . Little bit of You Tube and half hr later all done . Easy to fit and a quality part .
Part arrived quickly, packaged in a cardboard box. The built-in Bosch oven we have needed to be removed from the cabinet and the rear panel removed for this job. But otherwise simple enough to fit and reassemble. Oven working again.
Had tried to find the right part for my broken oven element but was struggling. Emailed customer support who pointed me in the right direction. Part arrived quickly and in one piece. Not too hard to fit. I now have a working oven for Christmas yay
