Description
Genuine generator transformer to ignite your oven's burner or heating element. It’s heat-resistant to withstand intense oven cooking conditions.
The transformer raises the low voltage coming from the oven's electrical system to a high voltage. That high voltage creates a spark or arc. It ignites the gas or fuel source so you can start cooking in the oven.
It also automatically turns on every time the oven needs to be heated. Very reactive to signals from the thermostat or control panel to keep the cooking temperature at the correct level.
This ignition generation transformer is from Bosch. Also fits other cooker and hob brands like Gaggenau, Neff, Siemens, and Tecnik.

Easy to fit. Saved us a lot of money
Really simple to replace the old part after hob stopped making the spark. Was looking £350+ to replace the hob. Saved a fortune to replace the part.

Good value replacement part
Our Neff Hob was no longer producing a piezo ignition spark to any of the burners. This IGNITION GENERATOR TRANSFORMER was pretty much identical to the non-functioning one already in place, checking compatibility was straightforward and so was the swap out. Would definitely use Ransom Spares again.

Relatively easy to fit although the pin-out was slightly different to the failed device. Easily interpreted. Great service from RansomSpares - have already used them for my next repair of a failed seal on my washing machine!
