Not difficult to fit but you do need to take the back off the oven and the inner plate off too. Exact replacement for existing part and works perfectly. Saved a few hundred on a new oven and better for the planet than just throwing the old one away.

The element seems to be an original - looks identical to the failed one. Bosch ovens requiring this element have an unusal fixing method that is awkward in that the element cannot be replaced from the front/inside of the oven. The element is screwed from the reverse side with the threads in the actal element. To remove the existing element and fit the new, the oven must be removed fom the housing and the back taken off. This reveals the two torx screws that secure the element. These screws may be difficult to remove through age and heat.

Cheapest spares I can find. Exactly the same as the original Bosch part. Used Ransom spares a few times now. Always reliable.

Ordered for next day delivery which happened on time and the oven element was an exact match to that from the bosch oven I removed the faulty one from. Installed in 5 mins and oven has leap to life. Can't fault and saved be 400 quid on a new oven!
