This is a genuine control knob coupling for your oven in white colour.
Connects your control knob to the oven’s thermostat and set the temperature when cooking in your oven.
Check for signs of damage like difficulty turning the knob, loose movement, or failure to adjust oven settings. Cracks or visible wear on the coupling indicate it's time for a replacement. Change it out with this part.
This control knob coupling for your oven is from Bosch. Also fits Balay, Blaupunkt, Constructa, Junker, Kuppersbusch, Neff, Pitsos, Privileg, Profilo, Siemens, Viva, Vorwerk, and Zelmer cookers and hobs.
Before ordering, please verify with our compatibility checker that this part is suitable for your model.
Good product, very happy. The rest below is for future travellers: I actually ordered this specific part in error, as I think some others did from their reviews, but it didn't matter. If you're thinking of ordering this part, maybe read on below. Avoiding unnecessarily technical language.... On my Bosch oven, there's four turny knobs on the outside - two mode switches (clicky), and two thermostats for controlling oven temperature (smooth). The coupler is for connecting the outside knob to an internal switch - presumably designed to be the cheap part to break if somebody gets heavy handed, rather than two more expensive parts. The mode switch on mine, one with 7 positions, had got stiff when selecting certain modes, particularly from one direction, and this meant that the coupling that connects the turny knob to the clicky switch inside eventually broke. Having replaced the coupling once before a couple of years back, I picked out this part without looking too closely because there's only one "OVEN CONTROL KNOB COUPLING" listed for my oven model and I thought this looked like what I'd ordered a few years ago. But, I was wrong - it is similar, but different to what's inside my oven from the factory. It turns out, this part (black frame, white coupler) looks like it suitable is ONLY for connecting a thermostat's turny knob and the rotating switch inside. The frame twists on and fits onto the thermostat securely. On my oven the frame is NOT suitable for attaching to the mode switch - the frame wouldn't fit without some adjustment by cutting parts away and I was skeptical. In my oven, from the factory it looks like all four knobs used an alternative part: white frame, green coupler to connect to their respective internal switch. That factory coupling IS suitable for both mode and thermostat -type switches. So, I just removed the factory coupler from a thermostat to use with the mode switch (which I am replacing at the same time). I used this coupler part I ordered in error to replace the thermostat coupler instead. Hope that helps! Happy DIYing!
Very happy that I was able to find a company that supplies everything for siemens etc Encyclopedia of kit Thanks very much 🙂
In the current trend of repairing rather than throwing away, I saved the repair man’s £75 call out charge and had a go myself. Very easy to do and job done in 30 mins. My only gripe is how a tiny piece of plastic which couldn’t have cost much more than 5p to manufacture can be sold for £9.30 (inc postage). I am happy with Ransom Spares service.
Great service, part fits perfectly, bit pricey for tiny bit of plastic, but similar price from Bosch so not Ransom spared fault, thanks to Tony who was very helpful
Product is overpriced but provides a quick solution to the failed coupling - the secandary one to fail in 12 months
