The oven thermostat took a few days to arrive, but was well packed and looked similar quality to the original part it was replacing. There were no fitting instructions, so you need to be competent at dismantling the cooker, removing the old thermostat, fitting the new one and correctly attaching the push-in electrical connectors. It fitted well and the only tricky part was that the positioning of some of the connectors was slightly different on the new part, so a bit of research was needed to make sure it was correctly connected. Since fitting, the thermostat has worked well so far and represents good value as it has kept this older cooker going for (hopefully) a few more years.

Found this product on the Ransom website, checked it fitted our oven and ordered it. It duly arrived, well packed, and I proceeded to fit it, which was straightforward to do. Perfect fit and a happy wife afterwards; much cheaper than a new oven!
