Restored oven temperature reading
Original fault was inconsistent oven temperature confirmed by adding 2 separate gauges within the oven , replacing with a new thermostat restored my cooker . Fitting was about 1 hours work with no need to disconnect the gas supply only the mains cooker feed .

Purchased as a process of elimination to see if our oven was over heating as cross referencing with a Additional gauge hung on the rack . Will monitor as necessary .

It's a Thermostat.......
....... but, it was competitively priced and arrived very quickly after a quick and easy online ordering process. It does what it is supposed to do in controlling oven temperature (which the original had stopped doing!) and appears to be accurate when compared with an oven thermometer. Fitting was quite straightforward even for someone who had not replaced a thermostat on an electric oven before: disconnect from the mains, remove the top and back panel and follow common sense..... easy peasy.
