The top grill element delivers heat downward
Your oven's top grill element directs heat downward so the top of your food is cooked through. This heat distribution lessens the chance of uneven cooking and undesirable browning marks.
Why do grill heating elements fail?

Genuine Hotpoint Part - Easily Fitted
Great original manufacturer's replacement part. Easily fitted once failed part carefully removed. Fitting Tips: 1. Used long nose pliers to carefully pull connectors off old element without damaging them. 2. Check replacement element coils are all level and in line before fitting. Mine needed very slight adjustment, but easily done with care by hand, before fitting. Now the grille is working perfectly again. Thanks Ransom Spares for excellent parts for another successful repair.
